Individual Needs - SEND

Bishop Heber High School values the abilities and achievements of all its students and is committed to discovering and providing the best learning conditions for each student, promoting development in understanding and social maturity, alongside their peers wherever possible. For further information our Individual Needs SEND Policy is available online at www.bishopheber.cheshire.sch.uk/Parents./Policies as a read-only copy in the School Library or as a printed copy which is available from the Clerk to the Governors, Miss J Ashley,jashley@bishopheber.cheshire.sch.uk

Information Evenings

We hold three parental information evenings per year – Lower Sixth in September, Year 7 in October and Year 9 in July. The presentations cover the curriculum/examination and pastoral expectations for the following two years of your son/daughter’s education.

Insight

Insight is our Parents’ Portal which allows you to access up to date information about your son or daughter. There is a link to the site on the School’s website in the Parents section. You will receive your login and password when your daughter/son joins the School and you can receive a reminder at any time by emailing: itsupport@bishopheber.cheshire.sch.uk

Once logged into the site you can check your personal details, access past reports and letters home, check behaviour and attendance, view your son/daughter’s timetable, Homeworks and check examination timetables. A help session is available during the Year 7 Parents’ Information Evening in October each year.
