We require, from 1st September 2026, a motivated and inspirational Subject Leader of Maths to join this lively and outstanding 11-18 Foundation School. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Maths teacher with energy, leadership and management experience to lead this key area. The successful candidate will lead a hardworking, collaborative and high achieving team. We expect that you will be able to teach Maths across the KS3 and KS4 ability range. The ability to teach Maths to A-level and or Advanced A-level is desirable.
The successful candidate will:
- be an outstanding teacher with recent successful teaching experience at KS3 and KS4, preferably with experience at sixth form
- have a proven track record of excellent examination results
- have a clear vision to inspire colleagues, an ability to develop and evaluate the work of a team, and experience of raising achievement
- be able to inspire children and young people to develop enthusiasm for and confidence in Maths
- have a vision for a progressive KS3 curriculum that develops a breadth and depth of understanding and that is a springboard to success at GCSE into Sixth Form
