Grade 3 £9.43 – £9.81 per hour

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Heber Leisure team. As the first port of call for our users, we are looking for someone who can communicate clearly in a professional and friendly manner, and who can work effectively on their own initiative as well as part of the team. The successful person will also have an understanding of health and safety and be able to provide exceptional service delivery.
Heber Leisure is based at Bishop Heber High School in Malpas and services the students, staff and local community. Our facilities include a gym, sports hall, Astroturf pitch, tennis courts and sports fields.
Your duties will include preparation of the internal and external areas for events, classes and fixtures, and provide support for activities hosted on site. You will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities are maintained correctly and are found to be in a user friendly, secure and welcoming way.
Previous experience of working in a similar position is desirable but not essential as relevant training will be provided to enable the post holder to carry out their duties competently.
The role will require the successful candidate to work evenings and weekends and would suit someone that is interested in pursuing a career in Sport and Fitness.

Closing date for applications: Monday 31st January 2022 at 9.00am.

Anticipated interview date: Week commencing 7th February 2022.

As a statement of commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, the successful applicant will be expected to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
