Consultation on school admission arrangements for 2020-21
Bishop Heber High School is consulting on its proposed admission arrangements for the academic year 2020-2021. The consultation will run from 6th November 2018 until 31st December 2018.
The Governing Body of the school are consulting on changes to our school admission arrangements and co-ordinated admission scheme. We propose to:
- Move criterion 6 (Children of staff (parents) who have been directly employed by the school for two years or longer) to criterion 4 to ensure continuity in staffing at the school long term.
- Prioritise families that attend a designated partner/feeder schools with a new criterion 5 and
- Clarify Bishop Heber High School’s catchment area as defined by the eight named partner/feeder primary school’s catchment zones.

All admission authorities must determine their final admission arrangements for 2020-21 by 28th February 2019 and notify their Local Authority by 15th March 2019.
