Admissions Consultation

Consultation on school admission arrangements for 2019-20

Bishop Heber High School is consulting on its proposed admission arrangements for the academic year 2019-2020. The consultation will run from 6th December 2017 until 31 January 2018.

The Governing Body of the school are consulting on

Removing Huxley CE Primary School from the school’s Admission Criteria as a named partner primary school. Huxley no longer participates in the Broxton Rural Education Improvement Partnership and is now federated with a partner school Utkinton St Pauls C of E Primary School, is a member of the Sandstone Partnership of schools, and has historically sent students to Tarporley High School and Sixth Form College. Its addition as a designated partner school in 2019-20 would formalise a strong partnership which already exists with its nearest high school.

Details of the proposed admission arrangements are available on the Admissions page of the school’s website. Comments on the proposed amendment to the Admission Policy should be emailed to jashley@bishopheber.cheshire.sch.uk.

You may also participate in the consultation by post, by writing to Miss Jane Ashely, Clerk to the Governing Body, Bishop Heber High School, Chester Road, Malpas, Cheshire, SY14 8JD by 31st January 2018. All admission authorities must determine their final admission arrangements for 2019-20 by 28th February 2018 and notify their Local Authority by 15th March 2018.
