Graham Bibby - Assistant Headteacher

Mr Bibby currently teaches AQA spec A Psychology in year 12 and 13. The course covers a range of wide topics from Mental Illness to Child Development. The emphasis is on the scientific study of the mind and behaviour. Studying something as complicated and intangible as the mind creates many problems for scientists and as well as giving a good grounding in psychology, the course also covers areas of philosophy which are relevant to an understanding of the mind and of scientific process. Most importantly: PSYCHOLOGY IS FUN!
The course is hard work, intellectually demanding and challenges assumptions but is taught in student centred and stimulating fashion. A wide range of support materials are provided on eheber (link below), much of which are available to guest access.
If you want to know more about the subject, have a look at the AS module in the Psychology section of eheber.
