Courses
Students follow the National curriculum at Key stage 3. They study a mixture of Biology, Chemistry and Physics delivered by one or two teachers.

In Year 10 our students will complete the core of the 21st Century Science GCSE, focussing on scientific issues in the news such as genetics, asteroid impacts and pollution.

Current year 11 students are following the AQA Double Modular science GCSE. Future students will continue with the 21st Century Science course.

Popular A levels are offered in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, all following AQA specifications.

Additional activities
Sixth form biologists spend a week in Anglesey studying marine, freshwater and industrial ecology.

We enjoy good relations with our feeder schools, and spend a day running activities for the year 5 students.
